England vs Pakistan 1st test match at Trent Bridge, Nottingham.

England 1st innings : 354 all out in 104.1 overs.  
Pakistan 1st innings : 182 all out in 54 overs.
England 2nd innings : 269/9 dec in 75.3 overs.
Pakistan 2nd innings : 80 all out in 29 overs.

England won the first test in the four test match series. In this match, England won the toss and elected to bat first. England scored 354 for loss of 10 wickets in 104.1 overs. In the first innings, Eoin Morgan scored 130 runs, Paul Collingwood scored 82 runs and captain, Andrew Strauss scored 45 runs. Pakistan blower, Mohammad Asif took 5 wickets followed by Mohammad Aamer 3 wickets and Umar Gul 1 wicket.
Pakistan scored 182 runs costing all the wickets in 54 overs in their first innings. Umar Gul scored 65 runs and stayed as a not out batsman and Shoaib Malik scored 38 runs and remained as top scorers from the Pakistan side. In England side, James Anderson took 5 wickets followed by Steven Finn 3 wickets and Stuart Broad 1 wicket.
England declared their second innings at 262/9. England Batsmen Matt Prior scored 102 runs and stayed as a not out batsman, Graeme Swann scored 28 runs and Jonathan Trott scored 26 runs. In this innings, Pakistan blowers, Umar Gul took 3 wickets and Shoaib Malik took 2 wickets.
In the final innings, Pakistan scored 80 runs in 29 overs for the loss of ten wickets. In this innings, England blower, James Anderson took 6 wickets, Stuart Broad and Steven Finn took 2 wickets each.

The second test match will be held on Aug 6-10, 2010 at Birmingham.
